The severe storms Monday night and early Tuesday morning stayed mainly to the south and west of the Cleveland area.
165,000 outages were reported in the Cincinnati area at about 7 p.m. Monday, down to 147,829 at 11 p.m. Downed trees again were a major problem as storms kicked up winds around 70 mph.
The storms were ongoing early Tuesday morning. Forecasters say there are chances of thunderstorms throughout the morning, but the storms are expected to weaken and skies eventually will clear during the afternoon.
