The DHL Stormers have announced that their Champions Cup opening-round clash with French giants Toulon will take place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha.
History will be made on December 7 when Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium hosts the first-ever Champions Cup match in the South African rugby heartland of the Eastern Cape.
Due to a clash with the Cape Town Sevens, which will take place at DHL Stadium on the same weekend, the DHL Stormers will kick off their Champions Cup campaign in Gqeberha. Stormers director of rugby John Dobson said that the squad is looking forward to taking the Champions Cup to a new frontier.
