The DHL Stormers are delighted to have Deon Fourie back in training ahead of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship quarter-final against the Vodacom Bulls on Saturday.
Fourie has been out of action since suffering a fractured eye socket in the Champions Cup last-16 clash against Harlequins in Cape Town.The injury caused Fourie to miss the final two round-robin matches against Munster and Benetton, as well as the Champions Cup quarter-final against Exeter Chiefs.
“Deon has been training, he is looking really good,” said forwards coach Rito Hlungwani on Tuesday afternoon. Hlungwani was also positive about the Stormers’ lock stocks, despite the knee injuries suffered by Ernst van Rhyn and Ruben van Heerden against Benetton.
