Cohen half-jokingly chided himself for his comment upon buying the team in October 2020 that he would be disappointed if the Mets didn’t win a World Series title in three to five years. “I don’t want to speculate on what would have been,” Cohen said. “All I know, what I said about the vibe of this club, I really like it.”
