Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert told reporters at the NFL Combine that"interest has grown" on a possible trade for wide receiver. Last week Colbert said that three teams had inquired about acquiring the star wide receiver.
Colbert added the Steelers haven't ruled out any teams as potential trade partners, but would prefer to trade Brown to a team they don't play next season.Earlier this month Brown met with the Steelers, including owner Art Rooney, and the two parties agreed it was best to move on this off-season. Brown had spent the majority of the off-season up until that point seemingly trying to force a trade out of Pittsburgh, including requesting a trade and most recently taking aim at Steelers quarterback Brown still has two seasons left on a four-year, $68 million contract he signed with the Steelers ahead of the 2017 season. The 30-year-old has spent his entire career with the Steelers, and finished last year with 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns.
