Steele's multi-sport star Noelani Ajel stays busy with basketball, tack and soccer
Steele’s Noelani Ajel should consider hiring a publicist. When a reporter recently inquired about her availability for an interview, Steele girls soccer coach Leslie Otts, searching for an ideal time window, replied: “She’s a busy girl right now.” That’s an understatement. Since arriving at Steele, Ajel has played basketball and soccer and been involved with the school’s Air Force JROTC for four years. She’s participating in track for the first time since she was a freshman.

It’s my connection to friends and other people that I know. It’s part of my foundation, and it’s something that I really love.” Let’s talk about that. Ajel is wrapping up her fourth and final season as a member of the Knights’ varsity soccer team.
