Steam has dedicated a new sale to all the gamers who just want to chill. The Idler Fest offers discounts on a wide range of idle and relaxing games, perfect for those who want to avoid intense action or complex gameplay. From classics like Cookie Clicker to lesser-known gems, there's plenty to explore during this laid-back sale.
Steam has launched the Idler Fest, offering sweeping discounts on idler and chill games in its latest sale. Many games are for those that don't want to think too much, or have something on their second screen to click every now and then. Some gamers don't want to kill Norse gods, they don't want to have a brain parasite that will turn them into an Illithid, and no they don't even want to face the Starscourge at the Wailing Dunes in Caelid. They want to chill.
The PC game store has launched the Steam Idler Fest to shed some light on and give discounts to the catalogue of many idle and chill games the platform has to offer. The Idler Fest is “a celebration of all sorts of games that require the simplest of nudges to move play along. Normally we’d say ‘hurry on over to the sale page’ but in this case, a “get on over there whenever you feel like it*” feels like a more accurate call to action.” The sale will last from 3rd February until 10th February 2025 and there’s loads of idle and relaxing gameplay options seeing big discounts, including the Overwhelmingly Positive ADHD dream Cookie Clicker which is now 66 percent off. Many of these are normally cheap games anyway, so with discounts many become downright available for pennies. Like Fish Idle 2 which is going for just over R7 right now, and Garden Galaxy which is going for R50. The Idler Fest brings a variety of games to light, including such blistering classics as Leaf Blower Revolution, Sexy Airlines Max, Unnamed Space and more.
