A steak restaurant, which has venues in New York and London, is opening in one of Liverpool’s most beautiful buildings.
Hawksmoor was founded by childhood friends Will Beckett and Huw Gott in 2006 and now has seven venues in London, plus restaurants in Manchester, Edinburgh and New York. Co-founder Will said: “We‘ve spent lots of time in Liverpool over the years, and it’s one of the most exciting and dynamic cities in the country."We’ve found a beautiful, listed building in such a great location. It’s an amazing site, we're really excited to do it justice by building something really special.
As well as creating a venue that’s in keeping with its Grade II-listed status, the Hawksmoor team will be adding plenty of personal touches to its Liverpool restaurant, in a nod to the city’s history and heritage. As for the food, diners can expect steak cuts including Rib-eye, fillet and rump, plus delicious sides such as triple-cooked chips and macaroni cheese..
