A Staten Island couple is speaking out about a terrifying break-in at their home, hoping to warn other residents to be on alert. As AndreaGrymesTV reports, it's part of a larger pattern the NYPD is investigating.

"We hear what seems to be an explosion," Sciarrino said."I was shocked when I ran into the hallway to check on my children and my oldest son is screaming 'Dad, there's people in the house.'" Then, the suspects allegedly went to Lighthouse Hill, where investigators said they threw a rock through a first-floor window, took a set of car keys and drove off with a Rolls-Royce.
Thursday, police and Staten Island elected officials held a news conference warning perpetrators they will be caught and prosecuted.
