She also made clear on the call she is not resigning—or folding her campaign—despite a slew of politicians, including Gov. Cox, publicly asking or demanding she step down.
Cline recorded the call on Tuesday, when she spoke to the executive director of the Utah Republican Party, Brantley Eason.“Influence,” Eason said. The conversation quickly turned to Cline’s plans, amid uproar over her widely condemned social media post, when she seemed to imply a girls’ basketball player was a transgender athlete.
