State police probing death of man in Pa. borough after officers use stun gun on him: DA

Keenan Anderson, no age given, was confronted by police in Monaca, Beaver County, Saturday morning when they responded to reports of him damaging homes and cars on a borough street, reportedLozier said that officers used a stun gun to subdue Anderson then handcuffed him and put him on an ambulance gurney. The ambulance crew said that Anderson began suffering a medical emergency and they used CPR, but he was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The unidentified witness said that Anderson was stumbling down the street attempting to enter vehicles and that he also punched and smashed windows in her neighbor’s home. Linder reported that the witness said officers ordered Anderson to put down a knife then she heard what sounded like a taser being used and Anderson fell to the ground.Lozier said that the officers involved are off duty for three days. Monaca police have turned the investigation over to state police.
