Myra Rosenberger, 89, died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries caused during the collision.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has identified a Weisenberg Township woman who died Thursday following a fatal car accident in the area of Mill Road at Old Route 22.
Myra Rosenberger, 89, died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries caused during the collision, the Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. Rosenberger was a passenger in the vehicle, he said. The crash happened around 1:50 p.m. and closed the area between New Smithville Road and Old Route 22 between marker 863 and 737 for several hours, the township said.
Authorities transported Rosenberger to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where she was pronounced dead at 3:05 pm Buglio said in a statement. Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville said her death is now being investigated with assistance by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
