According to WSP, the Uber driver was transporting his passenger from Seattle to Bellevue at the time of the shooting.
BELLEVUE, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol is investigating an early morning drive-by shooting that left one man injured near Bellevue on Sunday.
At about 12:45 a.m., WSP communications received a 911 call from an Uber driver after his passenger sustained a gunshot wound while traveling eastbound on State Route 520.He was approaching Bellevue Way when an unknown vehicle pulled up alongside his car. A person inside the vehicle fired a single shot, which penetrated the left rear door of the car and struck his passenger sitting in the back seat.WSP does not have an update on his condition at this time.
