After launching in 2022, the program was part of the province’s goal to ramp up the technology industry by nurturing small- to medium-sized businesses. The provincial government has invested $35 million into the program over three years as part of Alberta’s goal to help create 20,000 jobs and increase technology firm revenue to $ 5 billion by 2030.
