The Maroons maintained their unbeaten run in midweek with a goalless draw against SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership and remain sixth on the table.
Babina Noko weren’t able to get back to winning ways having lost their match prior to AmaZulu and only managed a 1-1 draw against TS Galaxy on Wednesday. Sekhukhune are just one spot behind the Maroons on the table, and their route to the last four saw them past Liver Brothers, Cape Town Spurs and Chippa United.
As for Stellies, their path to the semis brought the elimination of Swallows FC, TS Galaxy and the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns. It is going to be the third meeting between the Maroons and Babina Noko this season, with the first clash in September ending in a draw before Sekhukhune bagged the reverse fixture.
