The Citizens progressed to the second preliminary round stage on the back of a 2-0 aggregate win over Congolese outfit Otoho d’Oyo in the previous phase of the tournament two weeks ago.
On the domestic front, the Citizens were in action in midweek and surrendered a narrow lead to hold Golden Arrows to a 1-1 draw in the DStv Premiership.
