The beginning of the Deion Sanders era at Colorado was marked by a remarkable upset victory.
Despite calling late starts the"stupidest thing ever invented in life," Deion Sanders and the Buffs will be up late once again.Colorado has already played two 8 p.m. games at Folsom Field on ESPN this season. Coach Prime is not fan of those late prime-time kickoffs.
The late games don't finish until after 11:30 p.m. and can even carry into early Saturday. Each of Colorado's late starts have also extended into double overtime. “Who makes these 8 o'clock games? Dumbest thing ever. Stupidest thing ever invented in life. Who wants to stay up until 8 o'clock for a darn game?” Sanders said. “What about the East Coast — do they even care about ratings? Is anyone watching it? What are we supposed to do with the kids all day until 8 o’clock? What are we supposed to do in the hotel?”The Buffaloes are currently coming off of a bye week.
