Seguin is also first in the class in goals , second in assists and second in games played . According to Hockey-Reference, his 85.5 point shares is tops in the class. Now 30 years old, Seguin is more than a decade removed from the Taylor vs. Tyler debate between him and Taylor Hall at the top of the draft.Among current Stars players, only Joe Pavelski and Jamie Benn have more career points than Seguin.Ryan Suter made perhaps the biggest play of the game with 4:24 left in the third period, sweeping a puck off the Stars goalline to preserve a 3-2 lead.
Jean-Gabriel Pageau’s centering attempting clanked off the heel of Nils Lundkvist’s skate and glided towards the net. As he was engaged in a net-front battle with Kyle Palmieri, Suter swiftly knocked the puck to safety.
