I have such a vivid imagination. I think it's one of the reasons why I'm an actor. I'm definitely starting to really enjoy this niche that I'm finding myself in.
I had questions about the character arc, and how it was in the first draft. I sat down with him after a week or two of getting it, and we just hashed through the script. Yes, absolutely, because I had never done a role like this, where it's mainly me for 100 pages and half the time, I don't have another actor in that room with me. When George came in, it was incredible, and working with Evie was wonderful. But for the most part of it, I was alone.
I've always been blessed to work with incredible crews, but everybody really held space for me, especially with some of those really emotional scenes – I have a specific process to get into those, and everyone just helped amplify it. But it was actually really good because there's that scene where I'm shoving it down my throat. I actually start to gag at one point because the texture of it is so…Yeah, that's what they said, too. Some people on set loved it, some people on set hated it.As the film goes on, it slowly reveals its hand and what's really happening to Eileen.
