Motorists have reported 'standstill' traffic following the closure of a road for emergency repairs
Sarratt Road, near Croxley Green, has been closed both ways with engineers forced to dig a hole into the road to carry out emergency repairs.
Affinity Water has been granted a permit of until Tuesday by Hertfordshire County Council to complete the work but there is no guarantee the closure will be lifted on this date.Circled is where the roadworks are. There is no through access in Sarratt Road as a result. Image: Google Maps
