A standoff with an armed man is underway at Snohomish County’s government campus in Everett.
Officials are said to be negotiating with the gunman. We do not know if there are any demands or who is in the building.
Workers and members of the public have been in lockdown in various county buildings since the trouble started about an hour ago.government campus in Everett is on lockdown for police activity. Please avoid the area until further notice. If you are in the courthouse or other buildings, follow the instructions from first responders at the scene. More info as available.The courthouse remains on lockdown. There is an armed suspect in the lobby. Law enforcement is actively negotiating with him.
Surrounding streets are closed and everyone is being asked to avoid the campus on Pacific Avenue near The Angel of the Winds Arena.
