This competition is aimed at celebrating the positive impact loan funding can have on the growth of SMME’s and how this in turn spurs on job creation and economic growth in South Africa; much like the domino effect, but more specifically the “Inyosi domino effect.”
Since its inception in 2012, the Inyosi Empowerment’s Enterprise Development Fund has provided business loan funding in excess of almost R820 million via 200 deals across South Africa. Through their SD fund, Inyosi has facilitated over 200 introductions between its beneficiaries and key investors, assisted with the creation of more than 10 000 jobs, and facilitated the provision of over 400 bursaries to black students. To date, over 500 investors have entrusted Inyosi with the management of their ESD investment.Inyosi Empowerment has more than a decade’s worth of experience in facilitating black-owned businesses, with access to capital, markets and skills.
