Malik Henry didn’t make it a goal to get 1,000 receiving yards this season.
After contributing last year mostly as a kick returner, he was flying under many people’s radars heading into training camp.
“We’re a better team with him out there,” said Stamps head coach Dave Dickenson. “Malik is certainly one of our top guys. We do feel like let the ball go where the defence tells us it should go, don’t try to force feed it to any one player. So far this season, he’s got 402 yards-after-catches. Nobody in the CFL has more, and Henry does credit the time he spent as a kick returner last year with helping him improve once he gets the ball.
Coker’s only got one start to his name, earlier this season against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but the Stamps are known to be high on his potential.Article content Both Javien Elliott and Elie Bouka were listed as game-time decisions on Friday after playing extremely well against the B.C.
