A council worker responsible for supervising criminals has admitted to stalking his former girlfriend for three years.
The 42-year-old is employed as a community payback supervisor dealing with offenders carrying out community service orders by the courts, but now he is facing his own punishment for breaking the law, the Daily Record reports.Becket, who works for Renfrewshire Council, drove past the woman's home, telling her he was monitoring her movements and repeatedly threatened to ask police to carry out child welfare threats. He also harassed her father.
“He wanted to know what she was doing every minute of every day and who she was communicating with. Despite him being the obsessive bully, he would turn every situation around to be her fault, suggesting that it was her who made him behave in that way.
