JOHN'S, N.L. — Around 400 St. John's municipal workers will see an 11 per cent pay increase over four years after ratifying a new collective agreement with the city.
Municipal employees and the City of St. John's reached a tentative deal Friday, which workers ratified late Monday evening, the city said in a release. The agreement covers municipal employees represented by CUPE Local 569 who work in humane services, parks, property management, road maintenance and snow clearing, traffic and water and wastewater.
