St Francis College learners are the champions of the inaugural Sowetan and SA Home Loans School Quiz after the school’s general knowledge club pipped Inkonjane Junior Secondary School in the final on May 27.
Kabongo said their preparation went smoothly because they realised early on which news item each member was adept at.“This was effective because I didn’t realise so much was happening around me.
It was an interesting experience. Even now, when I see headlines, I want to know more,” Kabongo said.“It’s a fantastic achievement. It speaks to our vision of excellence and the commitment of our learners and teachers. We are proud of them,” said Steyn.
