St Dominic’s Catholic School For Girls learners and staff will plunge into icy water and swim across the 25m length of the school swimming pool for the its Polar Plunge on July 14.Funds raised during the Polar Plunge will go towards the school’s adopted bears at the Johannesburg Zoo, Tamu and Valentine.

These are spectacled bears. They have pale markings around their eyes, resembling spectacles, hense their name.
