Singapore Airlines flight SQ321 from London to Singapore was diverted to Bangkok after the plane was hit by severe turbulence.
It was believed that Mr Geoff Kitchen was on flight SQ321 with his wife, headed for what neighbours told reporters was the “holiday of a lifetime”.
