The NBA announced that Wembanyama has been named the Western Conference Kia Rookie of the Month for games played in March.

In an overtime win against Brooklyn on Mar. 17, he finished with 33 points, 15 rebounds, seven blocks and seven assists, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar , Charles Barkley , and Joel Embiid as the only players with 30 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and seven blocks in a game.
