Wembanyama’s point total may hinge on keeping this game in range and keeping him playing long enough, and the spread is close enough to suggest that will happen. He has cracked 15 in two of three games, the exception being when the Clippers blew out the Spurs. If San Antonio was a bit closer to being a competitive team — this is simply a fact and not meant as a knock on any of that young talent or Gregg Popovich — then losing Booker’s ball-handling could be catastrophic for the Suns.
