The Springboks are said to have suffered another major injury blow on the eve of their end-of-year tour to the northern hemisphere.
Last week, the Springboks confirmed the injury withdrawal of utility forward Jan-Hendrik Wessels, with Johan Grobbelaar and Wilco Louw called up to the touring squad.
In that same game, it was reported that veteran prop Frans Malherbe also picked up an injury, and according tohe was unable to take up his place in the squad that departed for a training camp in Jersey on Sunday. Orlando Pirates are on top of the world as they finish the week top of the league while Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns both loose.
