Looking forward to rural-life RPG Spirittea joining Xbox Game Pass later this year? Here's our interview with sole developer Dan Beckerton... CheeseMaster_Pr nomorerobotshq

early this year, and so so we reached out to developer Cheesemaster Games to find out more, with sole developer Dan Beckerton having been kind enough to answer our questions.Firstly, we asked about how it felt to have Spirittea coming to Game Pass on day one."It's honestly very exciting! Spirittea is my second game, but realistically it's my first big game launch," Beckerton says."As a developer, seeing peoples' reactions to my games is one of my biggest motivators.

We're always curious to hear how partnerships with Microsoft to bring titles to Game Pass come about. Spirittea is published by No More Robots, and Beckerton suggested company director Mike Rose might have more to say on the subject."All I can tell you is that I woke up to find some messages from Mike saying that he's got exciting news... and I quickly reached out to him.

Beckerton also shared his thoughts on how valuable it is for a title to join Xbox Game Pass."One of the biggest challenges as an indie developer is getting people to see/hear about/learn about your game," he says."Xbox Game Pass is an incredibly popular service with a curated catalogue of games. Having Spirittea included in that catalogue means that there is a much much higher chance that someone will stumble upon the game than they might have otherwise.

We'll watch for news of a Spirittea release date — if you're interested in hearing more in the meantime, check out our for more on the game. If it's more Game Pass discussion you're interested in, keep an eye on TrueAchievements for part two of this interview!
