Arundel Drive and Bispham Road in the Carleton area of Poulton-le-Fylde were targeted by police
Offices from Thornton Cleveleys and Poulton Police deployed to two hotspots following concerns raised by local residents. They conducted speed checks on Arundel Drive and Bispham Road in Carleton with the assistance of a community volunteer.
"A total of 96 vehicles were checked on both roads and 22 of those vehicles were found in contravention of the speed limit. This means approximately 1-in-5 were found to be above the speed limit on both roads, which are 20 mph.
