Southport Air Show 2024 gets underway on Saturday , July 13 with a number of aerobatic display teams performing. Crowds are expected to line Southport Pier, to see a spectacular line up which includes famed Red Arrows. The line up includes RAF Tutor, Typhoon, Starlings, Navywings Wasp and more. As well as there being plenty to see in the sky, on the ground, there will be activities including mini tanks, bungee trampolines, land zorbs, bumper cars and simulators.

However this year, they have confirmed that changes have been made to help the event 'run more smoothly.' A spokesperson said: 'A new Traffic Management company is in place and they have established improvements to the traffic flow into the car parks.
