SAN ANTONIO - A tropical soaking for a good chunk of South Texas very much remains in the forecast cards. This includes much of our area straight south to Brow
nsville.
Our array of computer model data continues to suggest a broad area of low pressure will develop early in the week with potential to strengthen the low to a tropical depression. That aside, the best part of the overall setup is the appearance of a north to south axis of tropical moisture pumping from the gulf into Texas on the north side of this potential low and broad circulation. As it moves west mid to late week, this axis of moisture moves west with it across South Texas.
