Ndumiso Davidson, the chief executive of South Point, a privately owned residence accommodating students from CPUT, said the students were charged with serious criminal acts including arson, public violence and malicious intent to damage property.
Cape Town - Nine students from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Bellville were evicted from the South Point residence on Sunday night, with their lease agreement terminated and an urgent high court interdict was allegedly secured against them today.
