South Korean investigators are nearing the completion of the transcript from the cockpit voice recorder of a fatal plane crash that killed 179 people last week. The recording may provide crucial insights into the final moments of Jeju Air flight 2216, which crashed while attempting to land in Muan, South Korea, after encountering difficulties. The investigation, involving South Korean and US authorities, including Boeing representatives, is focusing on potential causes such as bird strike, faulty landing gear, and the runway barrier. The flight data recorder is being prepared for transport to the United States for analysis.
