The U.S. has been the key international territory for the service since the launch last year, driving more than 40% of total international subscriptions. As of December 21, it had 101.9 million global monthly active users, and 9.6 million daily active users. In the U.S., the service is subscription-only, with an annual price of $49.99, or a monthly sub of $6.99. The platform noted that Hindi content continued to be the driver for growth, but that Bengali, Telugu, Punjabi, and Tamil were all performing well across the country, while Telugu had been particularly successful in states including Colorado, North Carolina, Missouri and Texas, and Bengali content was performing in Kansas, Louisiana, Connecticut and New York.“I’m very glad to see the strong response to ZEE5 in the U.S.
