Florida native was 2-year starter at right tackle for Jaguars
South Alabama offensive lineman Adrein Strickland has entered the NCAA transfer portal. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining. Strickland, a native of Panama City, Fla., started all 26 games at right tackle the last two seasons for the Jaguars. A redshirt junior, he has two years of eligibility remaining.
Strickland’s departure leaves senior Reed Buys, junior Reid Gavin and sophomores Kenton Jerido and Lucas Taylor as the candidates to start at guard. Carney appears slotted in at right tackle, with returning starter Jordan Davis on the left side.
