Fashion Week Studio hosted an extraordinary evening dedicated to global fashion. The well-curated runway show, featured the unique collections of a wide range of international designers.
Collections all the way from South Africa were displayed alongside collections from France, India, Australia, USA and Ecuador,Hôtel Le Marois in Paris, a venue with a history of hosting iconic events for designer brands such as Balmain, Dior, Chanel and Prada.The collection payed homage to the ancestral heritage of the brand while representingPicture: Star Power International AgencyKgalagadi, the liqwa and the Drakensburg.
Lizah Chanda Crochet, another South African brand, also held its own on the international runway. Lizah’s collection paid homage to the rich South African heritage of crocheting, reinventing this traditional art form with modern flair. The show served as an ode to the art of crochet as designs featured crochet pieces and a standout design which incorporated delicate feathers.
