Senior Provincial Inspector Netshidzivhani disappeared after leaving his home in Hamakhuvha Village on Sunday, January 12, 2025. He went to Khunguni Mountain for his usual workout but never returned. Police immediately launched a search operation and discovered his vehicle, which led them to the suspects.
Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Thakeng, the police spokesperson, announced the initial arrest of four individuals connected to the case. However, two were released as they couldn't be implicated in the murder. The remaining two suspects, identified as Munyai Roshidzwa Vhutshilo, 25, and Nekhubvi Muano, 21, appeared in court on Thursday facing murder charges. Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, the Provincial police Commissioner in Limpopo, conveyed a message of reassurance to the community, stating that police are dedicated to uncovering the truth behind this brutal killing.
