“Claims totalling R2,241,082,675 were filed with the SAPS. However, it should be noted this is not the amount that would potentially be paid to claimants," Mchunu explained.Mzansion Police to ascertain why so many wrongful arrests were made, and what could be done to change this in future.The youngster was stopped by police and asked to produce her ID, and when she didn’t, she was thrown into the back of a van.
