The North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has ruled against the Society for the Protection of our Constitution's request to provide basic necessities like water and food to illegal miners trapped in a disused mine shaft in Stilfontein, North West. The court's decision, which has been applauded by the South African Police Service (SAPS), rejects the organization's argument that the trapped miners are entitled to these resources due to their inability to exit the shaft.
