South Africa has about 3,600 homes valued at R18m, making it the 25th largest prime residential property market in the world.

This is according to the latest review of the top trends in the prime property sector by New World Wealth, which generates global wealth reports.

“By this measure, South Africa ranks as the 25th largest prime residential property market in the world, well ahead of the other countries in Africa and in line with big emerging markets such as India and Brazil,” said Andrew Amoils of New World Wealth. When it comes to prime property trends in South Africa for 2022, safety and security are top priorities for buyers.
