The three-day state visit, which concludes on Friday, will begin with an official welcoming ceremony and discussions aimed at deepening economic cooperation between the two countries.
The visit is expected to focus on facilitating business partnerships and exploring ways to unlock the full potential of trade and investment between South Africa and Kenya. South Africa and Kenya have signed 28 agreements and memoranda of understanding across various sectors and have undertaken reciprocal state visits in 2021 and 2022. Kenya remains one of South Africa’s largest trading partners on the African continent outside the Southern African Development Community .
