Soshanguve dad 'inconsolable' after 5-year-old son killed by hijackers
A 5-year-old boy was shot dead in Soshanguve , in the north of Gauteng, on Friday night by hijackers who were targeting his father's bakkie.
Social media influencer and brand ambassador Gift Makoti, a cousin of the child's father, broke the news of little Ditebogo Junior Phalane's passing in a series of heart-wrenching posts on X , with photos of him smiling in the sun with his dad. "He's inconsolable at the moment," Makoti told News24 about the father before boarding a flight to be with the boy's family.
