Former Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre throws the ceremonial first pitch alongside Hall of Famers Nolan Ryan and Fergie Jenkins before the MLB All-Star Game, Tuesday, July 16, 2024 in Arlington., but he wasn’t the only Ranger icon, or the only Hall of Famer, to take the field prior to the game., was joined by former catcher Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez and former pitchers Ferguson Jenkins and Nolan Ryan. All three have already been inducted into the Hall.
Rodriguez, naturally, received Beltre’s first pitch from behind home plate.The foursome has 2,931 combined games played in a Texas Rangers uniform between them.
