Loudoun brewer’s death suspicious, police say
Dean Lake, 57, his father, was found dead in a house in the 400 block of South King Street in Leesburg, police said. He had “apparent trauma” to the upper body, police said in a statement.When they reported the death on Saturday, police said they were trying to find Schuyler Lake “due to mental and/or physical health concerns.”
In a follow-up statement on Sunday, police said: “There are no other persons of interest in this investigation at this time and there is no further danger to the community.” A police spokesman said no further details were available about Dean Lake’s death. A LinkedIn account lists Dean Lake as director of brewing operations at Black Hoof Brewing Company. On its website, Black Hoof is described as a microbrewery in downtown Leesburg.
