Heavy rainfall has flooded the A358 between Ilminster and Chard.
By Dan Ayers & Matt FaulknerThe A358, which is the main road between Ilminster and Chard, is closed at Donyatt Hill.for Winsham, the Chard Reservoir area and for Ilminster around the River Isle.
Somerset Council are asking drivers to seek an alternative route as the road is closed due to serious flooding. The council also said the A358 at Combe Florey in West Somerset, is partially shut due to substantial flooding under the railway bridge.Image caption,Local Donyatt resident Ann Higham: "We get flooding quite regularly by the village hall and today there's a car stuck in the flood water.
