Toronto Community Housing said that most of those affected were able to return home Saturday night, but some of those living on the fifth floor are still impacted.
Some residents are still displaced after a two-alarm fire tore through an apartment building in Scarborough on Saturday.
TCHC said they provided transportation to family or friends and, in some cases, hotel accommodations for those who couldn’t return home. McKelvie also said that the investigation is expected to extend to at least tomorrow at which time the fifth floor of the building will be returned to the care of TCHC.
